Biography

Dr. Dawei Wang received his BS and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2016 and 2022, respectively. His doctoral research focused on gas sensors and machine olfaction applied for power equipment monitoring. After receiving his Ph.D., he was a R&D engineer in a company developing a portable exhaled gas analyzer to realize human health monitoring from 2022 to 2024. He joined the DARE lab to conduct his postdoctoral research in 2024 where he was focusing on developing diagnostic and therapeutic devices based on mechatronics. His current research interests involve robotics and AI for emergency medicine, therapeutic decision-making, and non-invasive diagnosis and treatment.
